ImTranslator: Google Translate
This new module provides the access to Google translation service that performs instant translations between all Google supported languages and language combinations.
You can perform the translation in a number of ways:
enter text in the original text window choose the source and target languages hit Translate
If you don't know the source language of your text, choose "Auto detect" to let Google identify the language of the text to be translated. When the automatic language detection is performed, the label "Detected:Language" appears.
You can also highlight the text and:
select ImTranslator: Google Translate from the Firefox context menu click on the ImTranslator: Google Translate button from the Firefox toolbar select ImTranslator: Google Translate from the Firefox Tools, ImTranslator menu use the hotkey Ctrl+Alt+Z
Clear text:
clear the original text window or translation window
Select all:
highlight the content of the original or translation window
Switch languages:
change the translation direction of the selected language pair
Back translation:
translate the target text back to the original language
Check mark the "Back translation" box to use this feature.
Note: The "back translation" is far from being the proper way to check the quality of translation due to the asymmetric sentence structure in different languages. However, this feature may give you additional benefit to make sure your text is understandable.

Default language direction
Select the language direction you will be using the most. This selection will be saved and used as default at every start of ImTranslator.
Auto language detection
Enable an automatic language identification tool, which will analyze the source text and set the correct source language from the list.
Choose a preferred default language translation provider
Choose your preferred translation provider to perform translation. This selection will be saved and used as default at every start of ImTranslator.
Translation Options
The Auto options, if checked, automatically enable speller, dictionary, decoder, back translation and Russian transliteration. This feature provides an automatic synchronization with the selected language pair.

Localization
Select the language to see all menus and messages in your native language. This will be your default localization language.
The interface of ImTranslator is localized to 23 languages: English, Arabic, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian.
Show ImTranslator button on toolbar
Check this box to enable the ImTranslator button on the toolbar. Otherwise you may open ImTranslator from the Tools menu or Firefox context menu.

The position of ImTranslator window, back translation window, Google Translate window and language widgets can be changed. Use the value between 0 and 700 to define the windows vertical and horizontal positions.
